This well cared for machine’s motion is effertless and flawless. With nearly 62″ of x-axis travel, 48″ between rails from front spindle, 54″ from the back, 3 1/2″ of y-axis travel, and 3 1/8″ of z-axis travel this machine can do things few boring machines can. It also has the ability to bore open ended at the end of the machine. The clamping rails have rubber inserts across the top so that your work piece does not get damaged. The clamping capacity is a generous 4 1/2″ and fully adjustable. Power is provided by a 220V/3 phase 4 hp motor that has 2 speeds plus forward and reverse. Twin spindles turn counter clockwise one another and are flat belt driven. With a built in halogen work light, squaring fence, and built in castors it’s not hard to see the German engeering.
