Please Read Full listing Prior to Purchase Antique Tannewitz Table Saw. Serial # 296 ( Vintage teens to early 20's). Dual arbor saw has two blades & is easily switched by using hand crank. Model on door says TB 62 Notice on photo 15 showing rip fence the slotted bracket for the clamp screw has part of it broken away. We bought in early 2000's from Horne machine company in Lawrence mass. They made paper mill machinery & this machine was being used in there crating department. Sold by Frederick A. Cheney Boston Mass. We found a listing for this company in the 1916 & 1925 Boston Business Directory. Machine comes with the attachments shown in photo's. Attachments all have the original 296 serial number stamped on them as well as the table of the machine Motor & belt drive appear to be original & the motor is 7 1/2 HP 440 Volts AC. The motor base was lagged to the floor & the tensioner pulley arrangement allowed the blades to be switched without moving the belt tensioner or motor. We have used the machine a couple of times & everything works with no issue's. It has babbitt bearings & they are in good shape. The saw is usable as is or of course could be restored and turned into a show piece.
